GLENWOOD--Mrs. Tina Pope, age 67, of Montgomery County, died February 13, 2015 in Memorial Health University Medical Center after complications due to surgery.

She was a native of Fairfax and lived most of her life in Uvalda. She was a beautician at Scarlett's Salon and Beauty in Vidalia and never met a stranger. She loved line dancing, fishing, bargain hunting, cruising the roads, and caring for her family that affectionately called her "the mender".

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Leroy and Hazel Lee Delk and her uncle, Hugh McGhee.

Tina is survived by two daughters, Lisa Lison and husband, Jon of Rock Springs, Wyoming, and Shea Klapel and Dannie Thompson of Glenwood; one son, Perry Pope and wife Kimberly all of Glenwood; her special friend, Henry Morris of Lyons; two brothers, Johnny E. Delk, Sr. and wife Joan of Monticello, Florida and Joseph Leroy Delk, Jr. and wife Dana of Uvalda; two sisters, Nora Gene Ramsey and Martha Cook both of Idaho; five grandchildren, Tyler, Jennifer, Brittany, Jonci, and Mikel; six great-grandchildren; an aunt, Annie McGhee of Alamo; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The memorial service will be Monday, February 16th at 11:00 a.m. in the Cedar Crossing Baptist Church.

The family will be receiving friends at Perry Pope's house at 1600 East Highway 30, Glenwood, 30428.
