PATRICIA ANN COOK, daughter of Norman and Elgiva Gourley Calton, was born February 15, 1944, in Joplin, Missouri, and entered her Heavenly home January 31, 2019, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of seventy-four years.

Patricia made a profession of faith in Christ as a young girl and at the time of her passing had been a longtime member of Lynchburg Baptist Church. The love and continued prayers from her church family was precious to her.

Patricia spent her childhood in the Morgan community, where she attended school. She treasured the many friends she made over the years.

On August 8, 1982, Patricia was united in marriage with James Wesley Cook. Together they shared thirty-six years of love and laughter, while raising their four children.

Patricia took great pride in helping provide for her family. She was a cook at Western Sizzlin Steak House in Lebanon for several years. More recently, she was a devoted homemaker tending to the needs of her family.

In her free time, Patricia enjoyed tending to her gardens, both vegetable and flower. She was also an animal lover and enjoyed caring for her horses and her dogs. However, nothing compared to the time spent and memories made with her family. She loved each of them dearly.

She leaves to celebrate her memory, her husband James; two sons, Brian Cook and his wife Andrea of Lebanon, and Derek Cook and his wife Kristy of Conway, MO; two daughters, Melinda Wilkens and Terry Blackburn and her husband Donnie, all of Lebanon, MO; nine grandchildren, Wesley Blackburn and his wife Brittnie, Breann Blackburn, Bentley Wilkens, Elise Wilkens, Faith Cook, Brooklyn Cook, Connor Cook, Kailey Cook, and William Jeffries; three brothers-in-law, Leonard Cook of Lynchburg, MO, Leland Cook of Bolivar, MO, and Wayne Cook of Plato, MO; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Ruth and James Randolph of Lebanon, MO; other relatives and many friends.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents.
