Bennie Wayne Cornelius, of Double Springs, passed away Saturday, at his residence.

Bennie enjoyed spending time with his granddaughters and loved Alabama Football, hunting, fishing, and cutting timber.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 15, 2022, from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home – Double Springs, where a funeral service will be held at 2:00pm. Burial will follow at Cornelius Cemetery.

He was preceded in death by his son, Aaron Scott Cornelius; parents, Aaron Benny Cornelius and Bonnie Bell Cornelius; and brother, Johnnie Ray Cornelius.
