He was born July 31, 1916, in Walnut to Allen Glenn and Grace (Gonigam) Ross.
Surviving are one sister-in-law, Mrs. Dick (Lois) Ross of Peoria, and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three brothers, one half brother and one sister.
He owned and operated Walnut Gravel Pit until 1968. A World War II veteran, he served in the Army and later served as a co-pilot in the Army Air Forces in Italy, South America and Japan. He was a member of the Walnut American Legion Post.
There will be no services. Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m.
Sunday at Jensen Funeral Home in Princeton. Burial will be in Walnut Cemetery in Walnut at a later date.
