Luven Crenshaw "Lou" Cooper (1933 - 2017)
Luven "Lou" Crenshaw Cooper 84, of Holt, FL passed away Friday, August 4, 2017. Luven was born June 24, 1933 in Brewton, AL. She lived most of her live in Holt, where she was a member of the First Baptist Church of Holt. Luven retired after 32 years with Monsanto and again after 10 years with the Crestview Manor.
She is preceded in death by her husband: John J Cooper, parents: William (Hub) & Ruth Crenshaw, brother Oscar & Alice Crenshaw, Sister Williemae & Cicil Harris, brother Howell (judge) & Lavonia Crenshaw, brother-in-law Ira (Demp) Smith, brother-in-law Lawrence Lucas, sister Joyann (Joy) & George (Shorty) Chestnut.
She leaves behind sisters: Ruth Lucas & Myrtice Smith, brother-in-law Charles B & Ellen R Cooper, sister-in-law Glenda Jean Amrhein, numerous nieces and nephews and dear friends Kathy Adams, Carol Swords, Audrey (Boots) Reed.
Services will be held Wednesday, August 9th at the First Baptist Church of Holt, beginning at 11:00 pm with Pastor Curt Rainey officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11am at the church, burial will follow at New Holt Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the First Baptist Church of Holt, building fund.
