He was born November 12, 1961 in Jetmore, the son of Burton Ray and June D. Fakes Abel. A lifetime area resident, he was owner and operator of Jeff's Auto Repair in Jetmore.
He was of the Christian faith and was a member of the Jetmore Gun Club, volunteered on the Jetmore Fire Department for 30 years and loved drag racing and hunting.
Survivors include: two brothers, Lonnie (Marlene) Abel, Garfield, Larry (Marlene) Abel, Alex, OK; a sister, Bertha Ann Harris, Maysville, OK and nieces and nephew.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Jackie Johnson.
Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Monday, August 1, 2022 at Fairmount Cemetery, Jetmore, with Carolyn Tarman presiding. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, July 31, 2022 at Beckwith Funeral Home, Jetmore.
