Robert was born June 24, 1941 to Dewey and Lena Barnhart in Garnett, Kansas.
He married Karen Sawyer on July 25, 1959 in Baldwin, Kansas and she survives of the home.
Mr. Barnhart was a lineman for REC electric.
He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers Vernon Keith Barnhart and Donnie Barnhart.
Survivors wife of the home, one son Richard C. Barnhart of Humbolt, KS 3 daughters Julie Ann Winn of Chanute, KS Sandy Marie Handirch Brunswick, GA Connie and Sue Corley of Afton, OK 1 brother LeRoy Barnhart of Lawrence, KS 7 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 3 great great-grandchildren.
