Edo Casale was the son of Antonio and Francesca (Sacco) Casale. He moved with his parents and brother, Thomas and sister, Angelina to Pianopoli, Italy. They returned to the US in Dec. 1919 and settled in Herkimer, NY. He married Margaret Piscione. He was a brother to Thomas, Angelina, Tripoli (Peter), Mary and Assunta.

He had a daughter, Frances who was born Oct. 15, 1931 and died Dec. 19, 1998. She married Robert E. Rando.
