BJORK, ANNA MARIE (nee LACHACZ) Was born in South Milwaukee Wisconsin on August 28, 1927 and passed away on October 3, 2015 in Milford, Michigan. She grew up during the great depression, graduated from St. Mary's Academy and Cardinal Stritch College. Anne served as a teacher and reading specialist in Wisconsin public schools, Milwaukee Area Technical College, and local community colleges. After a lifetime teaching youths and adults alike, Anne retired in 1990. In retirement, Anne continued education outreach and served as a community advocate. Anne found joy in attending service, singing in choir, gardening, and expressing herself through art and needlework. In death, Anne joins her parents Anna (nee Okrajek) Lachacz and Joseph Lachacz; her brother Robert and sister Kathleen. She is survived by her sister Josephine; two daughters Carol (John) and Mary; five grandchildren, Peter (Nicole), Marty (Heidi), Megan (Steve), Devin (Erin), and Brian; six grandchildren, Kyle, Amanda, Simon, Aiden, Noah, and Brandon; along with nieces, nephews and friends. In lieu of flowers or cards, Anne would be tickled if donations went towards the Wounded Warrior Project or St. Joseph's Hospice.
