Ernest Jordan Williams Jr., 56, of 1310 Georgia Ave., Fort Pierce, died Saturday at a Fort Pierce hospital. A native of Fort Pierce, he was a retired staff sergeant with 21 years of service in the US Army. He was a member of Southside Christian Church.

He is survived by his wife, Azalee G. Williams of Fort Pierce; three daughters, Patricia Walker and Glenda Sue Poole of Fort Pierce and Tammy Diana Smith of Baxley, Ga.; two sons, Roger Williams and Larry Williams of Fort Pierce; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest J. Williams of Fort Pierce; four grandchildren; one sister, Barbara Joan Dolfax of Wilmington, N.C.; five aunts, Eula Smith of Fort Pierce, Eunice Granger and Birdie Jones of Decatur, Ga., Lesta Stalcar of Pueblo, Colo., and Opal Perkins of Fort Pierce, and three uncles, Romie Williams of Blounstown, Fla., and Hybert Smith and Charlie Perkins of Fort Pierce.

The funeral will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Yates Funeral Home chapel with George Randolph officiating. Burial will be at White City Cemetery. Visiting hours will be 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
