She was born Mary Thompson on Sept. 10, 1890, at Grinnell, Iowa, and moved to Chelan with her family in 1905. On Aug. 24, 1910 she married Van Adams at Wenatchee. They made their home at Chelan until 1921 when they moved to Manson. She and her husband owned and operated a small orchard and Mr. Adams died in 1953. Mrs. Adams then moved to Chelan where she had since lived.
Survivors include a son, Sterling Adams, Manson; a daughter, Helen Crow, Chelan; three grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
