HIGHLANDVILLE, Mo. — Glen Dale Lee of Highlandville, born July 9, 1946, in his family home at Onia to Leonard and Letha Lee, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 26, 2008, at Cox South Hospital at the age of 61.
Glen graduated from Timbo High School at Timbo. He was united in marriage to Leona B. Brown on Feb. 13, 1983, in Salt Lake City.
Glen worked as a carpenter and retired after 40 years. He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church at Onia.
Glen enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching wildlife and birds. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, R.A., Bobby Ray and an infant brother; niece, Tonya Jeffery; and nephew, Rodney Lee.
Survivors include his loving wife of the home, Leona; children, Glen D. Lee Jr. and wife Melissa of Belton, Mo., and Chuck Ritter and wife Tamitha of Fair Grove, Mo.; seven grandchildren, Thomas and Drew Ritter and Isaiah, Ezekiel, Zechariah, Faith and Grace Lee; sisters, Geraldine and husband Charlie Hoke and Betty and husband Tony Davis, all of Jonesboro; numerous other loving relatives and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 1 p.m. in Greenlawn South Funeral Home with burial to follow in Highlandville Cemetery.
Visitation will be held tonight from 6-8 in Greenlawn South Funeral Home.
