Graveside services for William "Bill" Finklea, 97, of Sibley, LA will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, March 21, 2020 in Providence Cemetery, Ringgold, LA. Officiating will be Bro. Ronald William Jones. Visitation will be from 12:00 P.M. until service time at Rockett Funeral Home, Ringgold, LA.
Bill was born July 10, 1922 in Ringgold, LA and March 14, 2020, he went home to be with Jesus. He was a World War II Veteran.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Clyvon; son, Jimmy Finklea; three brothers and three sisters.
Left to cherish his memories include a son, Fred and wife, Genie; daughter, Pat and husband, Robert, ten grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and a number of nephews, nieces, and other relatives.
Pallbearers will be Harold Rowell, Jr., Robert Rowell, Jr., Ronnie Dowell, Brian Stone, and Robert Jones.
The family would like to thank St. Joseph Hospice of Sibley and Lila Lowe, who was his best friend.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude.
