Freeda Maye Gorbet Duncan Krukoff "Nannie"

Freeda was born August 24, 1927 and crossed over to the spirit world April 15, 2022 peacefully at her residence with her loved ones surrounding her.

Freeda is survived by her daughter, Colleen Pete and son in law, Gary Pete (Round Valley); daughter-in-law, Darlene Robidoux (Yurok); son, Douglas Duncan and daughter-in-law, Susan Duncan; son, Kyle Crandell and daughter-in-law Jackie Crandell.

Freeda is predeceased by her husband, Henry Krukoff (Aleut Corporation); mother, Hazel Gorbet (Robinson Rancheria) and father, George Gorbet (Greenville Rancheria); 3 sisters, Colleen Poe, Mildred Duncan, Evelyn Peake and 2 sons, Dwayne Duncan and LaVerne Duncan.

Freeda entered this world under a walnut tree at Old Robinson on Mockingbird Lane. She was a proud to be a member of Robinson Rancheria and to work at her Tribal casino (22 years) and she loved playing bingo and the slot machines. She was an avid news follower for local and political news. She enjoyed being informed before going to the ballot box.

Freeda was blessed and loved 20 grandchildren, 50 great grandchildren and 31 great great grandchildren and all of her nieces and nephews. She will be missed by so many she touched, loved, cared for and befriended.

Funeral Service will begin at Robinson Rancheria Gymnasium on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at 10:00 AM. She will be laid to rest at Robinson Rancheria Cemetery.
