Barbara Kay Reed, 78, of Monkey Run, passed away Monday, July 25, 2022, in Gassville. She was born May 2, 1944, to Arlie and Verlene "Holstine" Reed. Barbara enjoyed gardening, fishing, and loved spending time with her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Lonnie Marler; a brother, Jay Reed and a nephew Rick Bruss.
Barbara is survived by two sons, Ronald (Alice) Marler of Lakeview, and Donald (Debbie) Marler of Monkey Run; three daughters, Lynette (Kenny) Haley of Cotter, Sherry (Carl) Cowart of Three Brothers, and Denise (Dean) Marler of Mountain Home; a brother, Bob Reed of Monkey Run; a sister, Wanda (Bill) Kiefer of Midway; 12 grandchildren, Brian, Kristie, Stacy, Steven, Garrett, Landon, Justin, Amber, Kaylynne, Amanda, Shane, and Andy; 23 great grandchildren and many more family and friends.
A graveside service will be at 10 am Friday, July 29, 2022, at Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery with Pastor Gene Carson officiating.
