Roy W. Poper, 51, assistant automotive superintendent of the Long Beach City Garage, died yesterday at a local hospital. A native of Gilman, Iowa, Mr. Poper lived there until 1922. He was a member of the City Employes' Association.
Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Hattie Poper; two sons, Private Dale L. Poper, U.S.A., and Richard L. Poper.
The funeral will be held at the Patterson & Snively Chapel, Rev. Fred B. Trotter of the First Methodist church, Huntington Park officiating, assisted by the Rev. Frank D. Lawyer, pastor of the East Long Beach Methodist Church.∼Suggested edit:
