On Sun., Oct. 11, 2020, Marilyn Jean McDaniel, age 74, passed away. She was born Sept. 3, 1946, in Missouri Valley, IA., to Francis and Rose (Gayman) Wear.

In 1978 Marilyn received her Master's degree in Edu. from the Univ. of Neb. in Lincoln, and was a public school teacher until she was a Walmart associate for 32 years. She was an extremely hard worker and had an unwavering determination to reach her goals.

Marilyn and Vernon Henry McDaniel were married Aug. 27, 1971. She had a passion for knitting and gardening. She had a generous and compassionate spirit, always giving to charities and helping friends and family any way she could. She will be greatly missed.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband. She was a loving mother to their children, who survive: Pamela Jean McCool, Brenda Lee McDaniel, and Patrick Henry McDaniel.

Funeral services will be at St. Bernard of Clairvaux Catholic Church, #1 St. Bernard Lane, Bella Vista, Ark., on Tues., Oct. 20, 2020, beginning with an 11:00 am viewing, an 11:30 am Rosary, and Noon Mass. On Wed., Oct. 21, 2020, the internment will be at 10:30 am. Flowers or donations may be sent to the church.
