Known as Kathleen, she was first married to a Mr Barnett. Her mother died when she was just a small child. Kathleen passed away at Meadowbrook Acres Nursing Center after a short illness. She was a member of Weekly Memorial United Methodist Church and a former employee of Diamond Department Store. Survivors are daughter Betty Woomer of Charleston, Charles E. Barnett of Charleston, Harold G. Barnett of Cross Lanes, half- brothers Harold Black of Chapel Hill NC, Robert Black of Hendersonville NC, 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Services were at Wilson Funeral Home, Charleston, with Rev. Bruce Richmond officiating.
