Mrs. Maggie M. Morrell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Putman, was born July 4, 1881 and died January 8, 1908, her age at the time of her death being 26 years, 6 months and 5 days. She was married December 29, 1897. Four children were born to this union, two girls and two boys, ranging in age from about nine years down to a few months old. She leaves of the immediate family, to mourn her departure, a husband, four children, six brothers and two sisters.
Deceased was born in this county and this has been her home during her short life. Her greatest joy was the pleasure and comfort of her children.
The funeral service was conducted by Rev. B. A. McCoy at Gilbirds and the body was laid to rest in the Gilbirds cemetery.
