Rex Rudicel, Ex-Druggist, Dies
Rex Rudicel, 76 years old, a retired Indianapolis druggist for 45 years, died yesterday in a local nursing home.
Mr. Rudicel, a native of La Fontaine and an Indianapolis resident 56 years, retired 10 years after operating a pharmacy for 35 years at Southern and Shelby Streets, and another at Colorado Avenue and New York Street for 10 years.
He was a graduate of the Butler University and Tri-State College at Angola. He had been a member of the American Association of Retail Druggists, Butler Alumni Association, West Indianapolis Masonic Lodge 669; Raper Commandery of Knights Templar and the Irvington Presbyterian Church.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday at Shirley Brothers Irving Hill Chapel. Burial will be in Washington Park East Cemetery.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Mary E. Leskiw of Newark, N. J. and Mrs. Berdine Proctor of Indianapolis; a sister, Mrs. Mary Wieland of Indiapolis; two brothers, Ross Rudicel of Indianapolis, and Rev. Edward Rudicel of Shelbyville, and four grandchildren.
