She was born on November 27, 1942, in Dyersville, the daughter of Aloysius "Ollie" and Marie (Weber) Otting.
Nettie was raised in Earlville and was a graduate of Maquoketa Valley High School.
Nettie worked at Rockwell Collins for many years before her retirement.
Nettie was preceded in death by her parents.
