MANUEL AGUILAR Jr.

Manuel Aguilar Jr. was born February 25, 1933 in Kenedy, Texas, to the late Manuel and Felipa (Perez) Aguilar. He entered into eternal rest on January 23, 2008 in Boise City, Oklahoma, at the age of 74 years.

Manuel married Mary Barron of January 22, 1960, in Kenedy, Texas, to this union ten children were born.

Manuel moved to Boise City in 1966 where he farmed for Donald Ray Walker approximately 10 years, he then went to work for Behne Construction where he was employed for 11 years, his final job was for the city of Boise City where he worked until he retired. Manuel enjoyed spending time with his family, cooking, mowing, old westerns, country music, and most of all he he enjoyed his 22 grandkids and 23 great grandkids. Manuel will be greatly missed by all.

Manuel was a member of the Good Sheperd Catholic Church of Boise City.

Manuel was preceded in death by a son Raul "Bear" Aguilar, a daughter Angie Gonzales, and a granddaughter Ariel Nicole Aguilar.

Survivors include: his wife Mary Aguilar, of Boise City, eight children, Johnny and Cecilia Aguilar of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Margaret Gonzales of Boise City, Maria and Celestino Puebla of Gruver, Texas, Cynthia Barco of Boise City, Manuel Aguilar III of Boise City, Teresa Puebla of Boise City, Diana and Jody Baldonado of Boise City, and Mike Aguilar of Boise City, two brothers, Thomas Aguilar of Elkhart, Kansas,and Alex Aguilar of Clayton, New Mexico, four sisters, Dora Cardona of Boise City, Mary Martinez of Guymon, Oklahoma, Dominga Gonzales of Guymon, Oklahoma and Norma Aguilar of Oklahoam City, Oklahoma, 22 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Mass will be Monday, January 28, 2008 at 2:00pm at the St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Boise City, Oklahoma with father Pruitt, officiating. Rosary will be Sunday, January 27, 2008 at the Good Sheperd Catholic Church, Boise City, Oklahoma. Interment will be in the Boise City Cemetery. The family has suggested memorials To Help With Funeral Expenses, they may be left in care of the mortuary. Services by Cimarron Mortuary, Boise City, Oklahoma.
