John grew up in Stroud, Oklahoma, and attended Stroud Schools. After school, he went to work. He was a hard worker and worked on building boats for a boat manufacturer in Tulsa, OK.
In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling to new places, reading, making dreamcatchers, but mostly enjoyed gambling and going to different casinos around the state.
John is survived by three sisters; Mary Butler of Cushing, OK., Sue and husband Steve Griffith of Washington State and Marilyn and husband Elmer Johnson of Tulsa, OK. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Beverly Rose Allen (Lewis), three brothers; Francis, Anderson Jr., and Tommy, three sisters; Marcella, Irene, and his twin Lula.
