Services for David Dean Bruckner were Saturday at 2 p.m. at Williams and Lord Chapel in Greenwood.

Mr. Bruckner, 54, died of heart failure Monday, Jan. 21, 2008, at his home in Philipp.

Mr Bruckner was born in Greenwood and lived most of his life in the Greenwood and Philipp area. He was a graduate of West Tallatachie High School and a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a farmer and a deacon of Philipp Baptist Church.

Mr. Bruckner is survived by two sisters, Linda Hayden of St. Louis and Joyce Sinquefield of Southaven; two brothers, Robert P. Brucker of Carrollton and Roger Dale Bruckner of Tunica; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The Rev. Lester Jeffers and the Rev. Steve Livingston officiated at the services. Pallbearers were Joe Fennell, Kelly Fennell, Henry Starnes, Larry Earp, Brooks Sinquefield, Steven Hayden and Danny Hayden.

Williams and Lord Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park Cemetery.
