Parents - Hector and Noella (Wells) Hoague-Bellrose. He was one of nine children born to his parents

He was employed for 44 years at Central Vermont Public Railroad, where he was Assistant Foreman in the Bridge and Building Department. His territory extended from New London, Connecticut to St. Albans. Larry was also responsible for keeping the crossing at the Alburgh bridge safely cleared during the winter months. He was instrumental in keeping the Southern Division running smoothly and was highly respected by management.

He was an active sportsman and former member of the Franklin County Sportsman Club and Pelkey's archery. He also participated in the annual Swanton Car Show with his favorite red firebird. Larry also liked going to the Casino in later years.

Predeceased by his parents; his former wife, Jacqueline E. (Constantine) Hoague on May 23, 2003; his brothers, Ronald, Clarence, Wilson and Timothy Hoague; his sister, Elaine Ringler and Betty's granddaughter, Cierra Lynn Parent.

Survived by his three daughters; grandchildren; his great – grandchildren; his companion, Betty and her family; his sister and his brothers; and many nieces, nephews and his good friend and hunting buddy
