Mr. Alex James Grizzard, age 31, of Waco, GA, passed away July 15, 2022.
He was born May 7, 1991, in Carrollton, GA, to his loving parents.
Alex had grandparents, aunt and uncles, cousins, parents, a sister and brother-in-law, and nephews that he loved and was loved by very much. He loved playing Shanghai or Dominos, or epic games of Risk with whoever of his family members were game to play. His wit and sense of humor made him such a big personality. He loved to play paintball, Halo, Magic the Gathering, and other games with his buddies, particularly, Kyle, Tyler, and Katie Carter. He will be sorely missed by all of his family.
Alex is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Norman and Sarah Ashmore; [and his maternal great grandparents, Rev. J.T. Williams and Evie Williams].
Alex is survived by his parents, Bryan and Norma Ashmore Grizzard; a sister and brother-in-law, Jessie and Ben Kruse; two nephews, Bennie Kruse and Leo Kruse, all of Waco, GA; his paternal grandparents, Johnny and Marietta Williams Grizzard, of Bremen, GA; and many aunts and uncles.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 29, 2022, at 11:00AM in the Miller Funeral Home Dogwood Chapel with Pastor Sydney Garner officiating.
Gentlemen serving as pallbearers will be Kenny Ashmore, Chris Ashmore, Mark Mansfield, Kyle Carter, Tyler Carter, and Randy Goodwin.
Interment will follow in the Williams Family Cemetery.
