Ole was one of the earliest settlers of Utah, crossing the plains with an ox team and for many years was the best blacksmith in southern Utah. The family resided Mt. Pleasant, Salina, Gunnison, Scipio and Loa, Utah.

Ole was a missionary in Sweden four years; superintendent of Sunday school; president of high priests quorum; home missionary. Veteran Indian wars.
