OBIT: Of South Warsaw Rd., in Warsaw, died Sat., March 3, 2001, at United Memorial Medical Center in Batavia. He was 50. He was born Dec. 2, 1950, in Warsaw, a son of the late Gordon E. and Rita M. Duschen Goodenow. He had his own lawn care service and was a truck driver. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and dancing. He was a member of the US Army serving from June 17, 1968 through Oct. 28, 1983. He is survived by a sister, Dawn (Donald) Nicklas of East Pembroke; 2 brothers, Claudie Goodenow of Machias and Alan (Charlotte) Goodenow of Warsaw; 7 nieces and nephews; 7 great-nieces and great-nephews; many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was a brother of the late Robert, Wayne, and Gordon Goodenow, Jr. Funeral services were held Wed., Mar. 7, at Weeks Funeral Home in Warsaw, Burial will be in Warsaw Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family or the Warsaw Rescue Squad.
