ROCKLAND, June 28 -- Mrs. Alida H. Darling, 65, wife of Harold Darling, died at her residence, 16 Hill Street, Rockland, early Tuesday morning.
She was born January 8, 1890, at Rockland, the daughter of Lewis and Julia (Perry) Gray.
She is survived by her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Virginia Ranson of Rockland, and Mrs. Grace Gildred of Houlton; one son, Albert Barlow of Thomaston; an seven grandchildren.
She was a member of the Golden Rod Chapter, Order of Eastern Star.
Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the Russell funeral home here with the Rev. Charles R. Montieth of the Congregational church officiating.
Interment will be in Achorn cemetery at Rockland.
