Mrs. Tarver was born September 11, 1953 in Wisner, LA and passed from this life on July 24, 2022 in Winnsboro, LA at the age of 68. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church of Winnsboro, and she enjoyed staying home, watching tv, and spending time with her family. She was also known to be a good cook. Brenda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend and will be greatly missed.


She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas P. Easterling and Mamie Lea Dampier Easterling.


Survivors include her husband, Glenn Tarver of Winnsboro; her children, Shane Easterling and wife, Sonja of Baskin, and Laci Lea Tarver of Winnsboro; three sisters, Tommie Jean Wascom and husband, Gary of Baton Rouge, Francine Smith and husband, Ted of Monroe, and Sandra Sue Nivans and husband, Bill of Columbia; five grandchildren, Michael Easterling of Monroe, Nathan Veuleman of Winnsboro, Abbigail Veuleman of Winnsboro, Benjamin Easterling of Baskin and Hunter Hyde of Columbia; also survived by a host of extended family and friends.
