Valentine, Earl F., age 82 of Englewood, passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2006 at Koester Pavilion in
Troy. Earl retired in 1977 as a lathe operator from Machine Products in Dayton and was a veteran
of WWII having proudly served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the West Milton American
Legion Post #487, the VFW Post# 8211 in West Milton, the Fraternal Order of Eagles in West Milton
and the North Dayton Anglers.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years: Eva (Kauffman ) Valentine, daughters and sons-in-law:
Debbie and Robert Davis of New Carlisle, Karen and Paul Cyphers of West Milton, Sheila and
Darrell Stewart of Union, sons and daughter-in-law: John and Berry Valentine of FL, Larry Wolfe
of NJ, 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was
preceded in death by his parents: Glen and Mary (Weaver) Valentine, son: Greg Valentine & 6
brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 5 at the Kindred Funeral Home (400
Union Blvd., Englewood) with Reverend John Wiltshire officiating. Interment will follow the
service at Royal Oak Memorial Gardens in Brookville. The family will receive friends on
Thursday, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. If desired, memorial contributions may be
made to the Wellness Connection of the Miami Valley, envelopes will be provided.
