Abner Stone Glasier, a resident of this county for nearly 85 years died at his home on Wyoming Street in this village on Monday afternoon, August 27th at 3:30. Born in the town of Gainesville on September 18, 1838, the son of Abner and Harriet Stearns Glasier. On November 15, 1863 he was united in marriage to Miss Eunice Kellogg of Scottsburg, Livingston county. Nearly all of his life was spent at Oatka where he was engaged in agriculture and for a number of years conducted a general store in that settlement. About 7 years ago he moved to Warsaw and Mrs. Glasier and himself have made their home on Wyoming street opposite the home of their son, George W. Glasier. Besides his wife he is survived by 2 sons, George W. and Herbert F. Glasier, and one daughter Mrs. Chas. Burlingame of this village, also 6 grandchildren. Interment in Warsaw cemetery.
