Henry Anton "Hank" Sticha Jr., age 85, of Green Bay, passed away Saturday, December 11, 2021, with his son at his side. He was born June 7, 1936 in Clarissa, MN, son of the late Henry A. Sr. and Blanche (Chambers) Sticha.

Hank attended school in Brainerd, MN. After high school, he enlisted in the US Army and proudly served his country for 2 years until his honorable discharge. Texas became Hank's home after his military service, where he worked in road construction. Hank moved back to Minnesota and worked for many years as a truck driver and a property manager, as well. While living in Wisconsin, he met his future wife, Dorothy Traeger, on a blind date. They were married in Gresham, WI, June 13, 1970. Dorothy preceded Hank in death, March 7, 2003.

Hank was an avid sports fan and loved to cheer on the Cowboys and the Broncos (Scot was working on converting him to a Packers fan.) They also enjoyed watching the Brewers games together. He was a talented cook and baker, sharing his culinary masterpieces with his family and friends.

Henry Jr. is survived by his son, Scot Sticha; 2 sisters, Grace Farr of Arlington, MN and Janice Hyatt of Brainerd, MN and 2 brothers, Darrell (Jerry) Sticha of St. Cloud, MN and Jack Sticha of Brainerd, MN. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Dorothy and an infant daughter.

Visitation will be held at Newcomer-Green Bay Chapel (340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay), Saturday, December 18, 2021 from 10 to 11 AM. A funeral service will follow at 11 AM. Entombment will be in Sacred Heart Mausoleum, Shawano, WI.

In lieu of flowers, memorials directed to the family are appreciated.

Hank's family would like to thank the staff at Bellin Hospital for their loving care and compassion through the years.
