Mrs. Clara P. Abbott, 92, Chelan Falls pioneer resident, died in a local rest home. She was born on February 14, 1862, at Chatfield, Minnesota, and spent her girlhood life in Minnesota and Wisconsin.
Mrs. Abbott came to Seattle with her family in 1900 and to Chelan Falls in 1908, locating on an apple orchard in Douglas County. In 1940, she moved to Wenatchee to make her home.
Mrs. Abbott was preceded in death by her husband, Anson, in 1912; four sons, Earl in 1913, Archie in 1937, Roy in 1947 and Glenn in 1954.
Surviving are one brother, Perry Pratt of Del Monte, California, one sister, Mrs. Frances Spellman of Los Angeles, Ca.; five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Services were held Tuesday.
