Mr. Seale was a radio and television repairman. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and a member of Galilee First Baptist Church in Gloster.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wren Hudnal Seale and Cynthia Adeline Smith Seale; two grandchildren, Valerie Lynn Seale and Karen Denise Seale; a daughter-in-law, Peggy W. Seale; five sisters and four brothers.

He was survived by his wife of 64 years, Lela Ernestine Corban Seale of Gloster; six children, William Joseph Seale, Jr. of Baker, LA, Jessie Wayne Seale of Cedar Hill, TX, Betty Carol Seale Clary of Baker, LA, Jackie Seale of Baton Rouge, LA, Lynn Seale Spink of Hobe Sound, FL and Brenda Ann Seale Varvel of Orlando, FL; 15 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
