Was one of the Representatives from Lincoln County in the House of Commons 1838 & 1840.
According his grandson, James Patrick McDonald (Don) Mundy, William Munday walked from Denver to Raleigh and back for each legislative session. It took him about 3 weeks each way. He became friends with the farmers he stayed with along the way. He would help with the farm work in thanks for his lodging.
