Services for Alvin R. Amhof, 67, of R. R. 3, Davenport, will be 1 p.m. Friday at Park View Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park. Visitation is 2 to 9 p.m. today at Runge Mortuary. Memorials may be made to the building fund of Park View Lutheran Church, where he was a charter member, an elder and held various offices.
Mr. Amhof died Wednesday at his home after an extended illness. He was a farmer and president of Amhof Farms Inc.
Mr. Amhof married Mildred Nelson in 1933 in Davenport.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Alfred (Beverly) Oetzel, Eldridge; sons, Ronald, Eldridge; Roger, Davenport; and Randy Donahue; and eight grandchildren.
