Dennis, MS~~Launzada Eaton Carr, 83, life expired Friday Dec. 16, 2011 at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, MS. She was a native of Mississippi and a homemaker. She was a member of the Liberty Church of Christ in Dennis.
Survivors include her son, Tommy Carr (Anita) of Rochester, Minn; one daughter, Sue Hodgin (Kenny) of Dennis, five grandchildren, Steven Hodgin (Lisa), Todd Hodgin (Lori), Debbie Conolty (Bob), Monica Itchen (Brent), and Tim Carr (Tonya); 14 greatgrandchildren,
Josh Hodgin, Kelsey Hodgin. Bethany South (Chuck), Michael Hodgin (Christy), Lauren Pirtle (Nathan), Katelyn Conolty, Robert Conolty, Zach Itchen, Jenna Itchen, Allysa Itchen, Bailey Carr, Timberly Carr, Sadie Carr, and Lilly Carr; and 4 special great-great-grandchildren. Ally Hodgin, Redick South, Scheyer South and Hartley Tollard.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Wayne Carr; her parents, Henry Oscar and Ovie Bell Lester Eaton, two brothers and two sisters.
Services at 1:00 p.m. Sunday at the Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with her son Bro. Tommy Carr. and grandson Bro. Steven Hodgin officiating. Burial in the Lindsey Cemetery near Dennis. Deaton Funeral Home of Belmont in Charge.
Pallbearers: Tim Carr, Michael Hodgin, Josh Hodgin, Nathan Pirtle, Chuck South and Chris Clay.
