Beverly Dawkins-Williams, 66, was rejoined with her best friend and love of her life, after a brief separation of just 62 days, Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2007.
Graveside service: 12:30 p.m. Saturday in Laurel Land Memorial Park, Fort Worth.
Beverly was born in Fort Worth on Nov. 1, 1940, and was the only child of Dutch and Cora Lee Dawkins. She met her soulmate and love of her life, Robert Williams, in 1973 and they married Aug. 25, 1973. They were best friends and lovers of rock 'n' roll and attended many concerts through the years. They had a bond so strong that they were the envy of many of their friends.
Beverly was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Williams; and her parents, Dutch and Cora Lee Dawkins.
Survivors: Cousins, BJ Hennerdorf, Monte Riley, Charles, Gene and Ronnie McManus and Marjorie McManus-Davis, all of Fort Worth, Diane and Willa May Morish of Houston, Barbara Locklar of Jal, N.M., and Susan Carter of Midland; her godson, Justin Engel; her beloved cats, Ozzy and Chewbacca; and a special circle of friends.
