Mrs. Mary Stransky died at her home south of Munden Tuesday morning July 20, 1915 at the age of 57 years.

She was born in Iowa and came to Republic county Kansas when a small child, and has continued to live here until called to the great beyond.

Mrs. Stransky had been in very poor health for several years, but was not thought seriously ill until about three weeks ago.

She was married first to a Mr. Hanzlick to which union were born three children, Mrs. Josie Stransky, Mrs. Mary Nemec and Frank Hanzlick. Thirty years ago she was united in marriage to Joseph Stransky, and to this union one son, Charles, was born.

She leaves to mourn four children, her husband, five brothers, Wesley, John, Charles, Joseph and George Saip, and two sisters, Mrs. Helen Houdek and Mrs. Joseph Bouska.

A very large crowd of sympathizing friends and neighbors attended the funeral at the home the following Thursday afternoon July 22 at two o'clock.

Burial was made in the Tabor cemetery.
