Launna "Gail" Frizell

Launna "Gail" Hendrix Frizell was born in Story, Oklahoma to Nellie and Joseph Hendrix on November 17th 1937. She passed from this life on October 1, 2020 in Lindsay, Oklahoma at the age of 82.

Gail married her high school sweetheart Billy Frizell on August 20th, 1955. She was a stay at home wife and mother while raising her own children in Maysville, Oklahoma. She was a dedicated member of the Maysville Church Of Christ where she served in many ways. Later in life she enjoyed caring for her grandchildren and even worked in multiple daycares. She was a proud member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma. Her hobbies included collecting teddy bears and various antiques. She was loved by many and known as a wonderful cook to the whole family. Her grandson Travis said she made the best Coconut cream pie in the universe.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother; brother, Jerry Hendrix, sister Jenell Pearson, and two sons Brian Keith FRizell and Billy Douglas Frizell.

Gail is survived by her husband Billy Frizell of the home.

Brother, Joseph Hendrix and wife Deloris of Pauls Valley of Pauls Valley, OK.

Sister, Carolyn McCurtain and husband Paul of Alex, OK.

Daughter, Vanessa Eddy and husband Randy of Sulphur, OK.

Son, Mike Frizell and wife Joann of Tulsa, OK.

Grandchildren:Courtney Mann and husband Howard of Duncan, Ok, Ami Rose of Pauls Valley, Ok, Tara Frizell of Tulsa, Ok, Cheyenne Wollenberg of Chickasha, Oklahoma, Travis Frizell of Tulsa, Ok and Hope Eddy of Sulphur, Ok.

Great Grandchildren: Ashley, Dustin, Justin, Ava, Brintlee, Mackenzie, Taylor, Reid and Deacon.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am, Monday, October 5, 2020 at the Maysville Church of Christ officiated by Bro. Jess Whitlock and Bro. Joseph Hendrix. Burial will be under the direction of John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home, Maysville, OK.
