Born in Vermont, the son of Edmund and Anne Noble Buck and married Miss Chloe Foster, whose death occurred 9/1858. One son of his 1st wife, Edmund Buck of Syracuse survives. In 1860 he married Miss Helen Shipman who survives and 1 daughter by his marriage, Mrs. Ireland of Minneapolis, Minn.
