MELVIN J. KRUMRINE SR.
Melvin J. Krumrine Sr., 84, of 544 Bankard Road, Westminster, Md. died Wednesday, June 18, in Hanover Hospital.
Born Feb 9, 1913 in Carroll County, Md. he was the son of the late Paul H. Sr. and Gertie M. Harner Krumrine. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Gertrude E. Burkee Krumrine.
He was a member of St. Bartholomew's Lutheran Church, Hanover.
He graduated from Charles Carroll High School, Westminster, and completed college business course. He was a lifetime farmer.
In addition to his wife he is survived by two sons, Melvin J. Krumrine Jr. and Thomas K. Krumrine, both of Westminster; one daughter, Joan M. Miller, of Gettysburg; nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren' two brothersPaul Krumrine of Hanover, and Claude Krumrine of Westminster, and four sisters, Mabel Fuhrman, Arlene Worley and Evelyn Dickensheets, all of Hanover, and Sara Bollinger of Westminster.
He was predeceased by three brothers John W. Krumrine, Nevin C. Krumrine and Charles Krumrine and one sister, Ruthetta Sponseller.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 21, in St. Bartholomew's Lutheran Church, Hanover, with the Rev. H. Thomas Miller Jr. officiating. Interment will be held in St. Bartholomew's Church Cemetery.
