Born May 1844 in Illinois; parents were Thomas & Lucretia (Mauzy) Nelson; married Rebecca Myers in 1871 (IL); Had 5 children: Laura, Cyril, Maude, Joseph & Stillman; In his Obit it says he died 25 Nov 1929 in IL and was buried in the Maroa Cemetery. Also, his brother, Parley Pratt Nelson is buried in this same cemetery.
