Mrs. Shirley Rich Bice, 76 of Ragland, AL went home to her Heavenly home on Wednesday, July 13, 2022.

She is reunited with her true love, Gene, and her parents. Shirley was born July 23, 1945 to Charlie and Geneva Rich. One of her favorite songs was "That will be a Glad Reunion Day". She is having that reunion in Heaven now.

She is preceded in death by her parents Charlie and Geneva Rich, her husband, Gene Bice, sister Norma Jean Campbell.

She is survived by her children Michael(Misty) Bice, Mark (Dana) Bice, and Marsha (Ross) Wise, and many extended family members.

Shirley never met a stranger. She was the kindest, sweetest soul. She truly lived a servant's life helping as many people as she could. She was well known for her sewing skills. She could look at a picture and make that article of clothing without buying a pattern. She was a great cook. Making sure her family always had the best homecooked meals. When she was able she was an active member of Providence Baptist Church. She loved the Lord with all her heart and enjoyed gospel music. She enjoyed watching The Gaithers and singing along. Her family was her heart and she will be greatly missed on this Earth. She is now back with her fishing partner fishing on the banks of Heaven.

The funeral service for Mrs. Bice will be held Sunday, July 17, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Providence Baptist Church in Ragland, Alabama with Bro. Michael Bice officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, July 17, 2022 from 1:00 pm until the time of service.
