Lucy Ann Duggins

Lucy Ann Duggins, daughter of Billy and Sarah Megee was born March 8, 1875, in Ozark County, MO. and died January 6, 1954 in Springfield Baptist Hospital, at the age of 75 years 9 months and 28 day's.

She was united in marriage to Paton V. Duggins, August 1891, and to this union 11 Children were born, Her husband and two children have preceded her in death.

She became a christian at an early age and was a member of the Salem General Baptist Church.

Her survivors include seven daughters, Mrs. Jessie Tannehill, Ontario, California, Mrs Troy Teaque, Cave Springs, Mo.; Mrs. Aud Tabor, Romance, Mo., Mrs Carl Swayne, Chadwick, Mo.; Mrs. Martin Brown, Olathe, Kans., Mrs. John Swain, Flint, Mich; Mrs. Tandy Tannehill, Wichita, Kans.; and two sons Ira Duggins, Gainesville, Mo; Tony Duggins, Los Angele's California; 32 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren, 2 sisters and 2 brothers.

Funeral services were held Friday, January 11 at the Salem Baptist Church with Rev. Allen Ledbetter officiating. Burial was in the Lutie Cemetery under direction of the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home of Gainesville.
