April 24, 1961 - July 13, 2022

Funeral service for Kenneth Lamar Addison, age 61, of Piedmont will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday July 16, 2022 at Glencoe Hokes Bluff Funeral Home with his son Brother Russell Addison and Brother Bruce Jenkins officiating the service. Burial will follow in Young's Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at Glencoe Hokes Bluff Funeral Home.
Mr. Addison passed away on Wednesday July 13, 2022 at UAB Hospital. He is preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Lamar Addison Sr., step-father, Alvin Ray; sister, Joyce Battles.
Left to cherish the memory of Lamar are his two sons: Russell (Aqua) Addison, and Koby Addison (Jaylea Allen); grandson and his "Little Buddy" Asher Addison who was his world; mother: Mary Shearin Ray; sisters: Victoria Robbins, Kimberly (Michael) Reynolds, and Pamela Porter; brothers: Darryl (Carla) Ray, Michael (Trish) Ray, and Randall Ray and countless nieces and nephews.
Mr. Addison was a member of Young's Chapel Congregational Methodist Church. Lamar was an Avid Braves Baseball fan and Alabama Football fan. He loved spending time with his family especially his grandson Asher. Lamar was a very kind man and he will be greatly missed.
Pallbearers will be Michael Ray, Darryl Ray, Christopher Battles, Scott Maddox, Terry Lett, and Keith McGatha
