Charlotte Anne Gedney Died at Home of Daughter Here at An Early Hour Today

Charlotte Anne Gedney, who was the wife of Julius E. Gedney, a former railroad employee of this city, died at 4:20 a.m. today at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Dell Lynn, at 1815 South Drake Avenue following an illness of seven months.
Mrs. Gedney was 80 years of age on June 20 of this year and was well known here. Her death is mourned by a wide circle of friends and relatives.
Charlotte Adamson was born in Lee county, Iowa, but left there when a small child coming with her parents to this county. Later she lived in Missouri and returning here married Mr. Gedney, who was a railroad worker. They then moved to Kansas and lived for a long period of time. Mr. Gedney died seventeen years ago. Of eight children born to them two are living and are Mrs. J. E. Jones and Mrs. Dell Lynn of this city. There is one sister surviving, Mrs. Nan Hism, who lives in New Mexico. Mrs. Gedney was a member of the Christian church.
Funeral services are to be held in Cincinnati at a time to be announced later.
