Carrie Lee Boswell, 93, died February 6, 2008, at Syl-View Nursing Home in Sylvania.

She was a long time member of the Hiltonia Community, where she had lived for the past 40 years. Carrie will be remembered for her love and devotion as well as her generosity and determination.

Predeceased by her husband, L.R. "Bob" Boswell; sons, Jerry Boswell and Larry Boswell; and grandson, Michael Meads.

Survived by her son, Charlie Boswell; daughters, Bette Meads, Evie Ayer, Georgia Boswell, Frankie Hepburn and Jeannie Boswell; 14 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be February 7, 2008 at Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home. The funeral service will be February 8, 2008 at Hiltonia Baptist Church with the Rev. Henry Bazemore officiating. A graveside service will follow in the Bascom Cemetery.

Grandsons will serve as active pallbearers and the deacons of the Hiltonia Baptist Church will serve as honorary pallbearers.
