JACKSON, Miss, - Jan 9 The death ot W C Jones, one of Jackson s foremost citizens, occurred at hts home shortly after midnight, aged 61 vears.
He was loved bv all who came within the circle of his acquaintance. He was born In -Georgia, near Balnhrldge, In which city he learned the printers' trade. He localed In this city ten years ago, and established himself In business.
He leaves a wife and five daughters, Mrs. John T. Connell of Gulfport, Mrs D. H. Schlenk of Oklahoma city, and Misses Nellie, Ruth and Mattie Jones of this cltv; one brother, Mr. J. A. Jones of the Jones Brothers Company.and one sister, Mrs. C. S. Daniels of Baconton, Ga.
The family and relative left this afternoon with the remain for Balnhrldge, where he will be laid to rest.
